Collectible Route 66 Corn Maiden Kachina
This Kachina's purpose is to purify the women who grind the corn for religious and other ceremonies. Fashioned after the original Route 66 Kachinas sold in the Harvey Trading Posts during the 1960s and 70s. Hand carved from wood by Grace Pooley . Grace is sister to the late George Pooley who was very well known for originating this style of Kachina.Approximately 4 1/2 inches tall.
