This Kachina represents the squash plant. Plants are very important as a source of food and it is important to honor them. Fashioned after the original Route 66 Kachinas sold in the Harvey Trading Posts during the 1960s and 70s. Carved from wood by Grace Pooley. Grace is sister to the late George Pooley who was very well known for originating this style of Kachina. Approximately 5 inches tall.
