Large Quality Hand Etched Decorative Navajo Wedding Vase with Hand Etched Bear Design
The wedding vase is a symbol of unity between a bride and groom. It is an ancient vessel still used in traditional Native American wedding ceremonies. One spout represents the husband and the other spout represents the wife. The looped handle represents unity achieved with marriage and the space created within the loop, represents the couple's circle of life. Painted by hand with hand etched bear designs by Onitoh of the Navajo Tribe. The bear is a symbol of strength and is a very powerful healer. Approximately 15 inches tall and 9 inches wide.
