- The Red Bearded Long Hair is known as Tawa Angak’china, this is one of the most favored Kachinas among the Hopi. They are appreciated because of the beautiful songs and dances that they do in the spring. His main purpose is to bring rain to the people and their crops. Their long hair is worn loosely down the back, resembling the falling rain. These Kachinas appear in the Niman Ceremony.
