This never worn Patriotic bracelet with two American Flags on either side was made in the early 1990s by Danny Henio of the Navajo Tribe. The size measures 5 3/4 inches with a 1 1/2 inch gap, the turquoise stone is approximately 1 inch long and 1 inch wide. The silver cuff is 1 1/4 inches wide. Hachita is a town is southern New Mexico, this mine has now gone extinct. Turquoise is thought to be the first gemstone known to man discovered around 900 A.D. Native Americans have long used turquoise as personal adornment and in healing for centuries. It is the birthstone of December and a symbol of success. This purchase allows Native Americans to continue to be employed in their traditional craft.
