This gorgeous sterling silver bracelet was made by Robin Wood of the Navajo Tribe in New Mexico. The size measures 5 3/4 inches with a 1 1/4 inch gap. The stone is approximately 1 1/2 inches long and 3/4 inch wide. The cuff is 1/2 inch graduated to 1 inch in width. Turquoise is the birthstone of December and it signifies success. Believed to be the first gemstone known to man, turquoise has been used in adornment and for healing since around 900 A.D. Hachita is a town in Southern New Mexico, this mine has now gone extinct. This purchase allows Native Americans to continue to be employed in their traditional craft.
