This authentic Zuni multi-stone bolo tie is one of a kind and will make a gorgeous statement and/or investment piece. Inlaid with turquoise, coral, jet, and shell. The use of turquoise, shell, jet and coral as personal adornment by Southwestern Native Americans dates back to prehistoric times. The Apache Crown Dancer is said to be the Spirit of the Mountains, a healing Kachina. The use of Silver by the Zuni is more than 100 years. Where the use of all stones on this piece are genuine. The total length of the cord is 42 inches. It has a hanging length of 21 inches. The silver is 1 1/2 inches wide by 2 inches long. Each bolo tip is approximately 1 3/4 inch long. The bolo was made in the 1970's, the cord and tips are new. This is authentic Zuni made not to be confused with imitations. As with all aged silver, this piece has a natural patina, not polished.
